Step into the forest and be part of a GIANT treetop experience!
Arts and Gardens connects people with gardens and green spaces. What better way than through music and big tree climbing in Epping Forest!
Join us for a one hour session where you'll learn a fun and simple group song with music leader, Ellie Bowers-Jolley, before ascending the boughs of a mature oak tree, with the support of expert climbing instructors. The session will finish with...you guessed it...a sing-song from the treetops!
Meet at Barn Hoppitt, Ranger's Road, London, E4 7QH.
This activity is for all ages 8 years and older. Children, young people and grown ups are welcome to join, but we cannot accommodate children younger than 8 years and anyone younger than this will not be permitted to climb on the day.
You'll need to bring a coat and wear warm, well-fitted long sleeved tops and trousers / tracksuit bottoms, and well-fitted trainers.
This activity is available to participants with limited mobility. If you have access needs you'd like to discuss in advance of booking, please contact email@example.com. Accessible toilets and Blue Badge parking are available near to the climbing site.
GIANT Climbing and Music Sessions complement our GIANT Climbing Concerts presented on 18 and 19 October 2019, featuring over a hundred participating children, choir members and musicians from across Waltham Forest. Concert tickets on sale from September 2019.
