Grandad’s Island: from Page to Pavement

The deadline for local residents to help bring the story of Grandad’s Island to life as part of Grandad’s Island: from Page to Pavement is this Friday 30 August. Artillery will be creating a story map and listings of all the activities, exhibitions and performances taking place from 4 - 13 October. All of the commissions from across the project will then take part in an installation event in Langthorne Park on Sunday 13 October, where residents and artists from across the borough will come together to celebrate the magical work they’ve created.

Duckie Loves Fanny

Only a handful of tickets remain for Duckie Loves Fanny on Friday 6 September, just over a week away. Don't miss out on this delectable treat of dance, cabaret, music and - most importantly - food. In the build-up to the big night, Fanny shared some of her most iconic phrases with us in this video.

Leytonstone Festival

Dating back to the 1990s, the annual Leytonstone Festival is a week of fantastic performances, gigs, and children’s events from local residents. This year’s edition opens this weekend, from Sunday 1 to Sunday 8 September

With over 40 events across 20 venues in just eight days it can be hard to know how to cover it all. To help you out, we’ve picked out five things to do at this year’s festival. Follow in the footsteps of Alfred Hitchcock, enjoy the local music scene, see a show, take a heritage tour or try an escape room all in the space of one week!
